South Korea – February 24, 2026 – WEBZEN, a leading global developer and publisher of PC and mobile games, has released the Second Update of Season 20-2 for its classic PC MMORPG MU Online, introducing a new high-level hunting area, powerful mastery equipment, and an array of reward-packed events.
Swamp of Destruction At the heart of the update is the Swamp of Destruction, a newly opened hunting zone filled with overwhelming enemies and threats. Once connected to the Swamp of Peace through a broken magic circle, this desolate land now stands as the source of powerful monsters capable of bringing the continent to an end.
Designed for high-level players, the Swamp of Destruction delivers intense combat and high-risk rewards. New Equipment and Progression Updates This update introduces the 8th Mastery Earring, Earring of Frost, expanding mastery equipment options and allowing players to further strengthen their attack powers.
In addition, EXP curve has been adjusted to support faster progression, and a new EXP buff item, Blessing of Eunice, has been added to help players to grow more efficiently. Update Celebration Events and Special Sales To celebrate the update, the MU Online team is hosting various limited-time in-game events, including EXP boost events, Mastery Equipment and Accessory enhancement support, Artifact upgrade opportunities, and ranking-based challenges.
