Who Invested in the Round
Payment orchestration provider Yuno announced a $45 million Series B investment led by Global PayTech Ventures, marking a significant milestone for the Colombia-founded company.
The round drew participation from a roster of prominent backers including Andreessen Horowitz, Tiger Global, QuantumLight Capital, Monashees, Kaszek, Rasmal Ventures, GrowthX Capital, and Further Ventures, along with additional investors.
What the Capital Will Fund
Yuno stated the fresh capital will accelerate its trajectory toward profitability while funding research and development for next-generation payments technology.
The company plans to expand its global infrastructure capabilities to better serve enterprise merchants, banks, and digital wallets operating at scale.
Most companies raise a Series B to buy growth. We're raising ours to meet our customers' growth, and extend our lead, with a clear line to profitability in the year ahead, co-founder and CEO Juan Pablo Ortega said.
Platform Capabilities and Reach
Established in Colombia in 2022, Yuno positions itself as an AI-native operating system for global payments and financial services infrastructure.
The platform handles payins, payouts, fraud prevention, KYC/KYB compliance, and stablecoin transactions through a single API integration point.
Yuno currently connects businesses to more than 1,000 payment methods and over 460 integrations spanning more than 190 countries worldwide.
Why Global PayTech Ventures Led the Deal
Javier Perez, managing partner at Global PayTech Ventures and Yuno board member, highlighted the company's differentiated approach to payments infrastructure since joining the board last fall.
Yuno combines global reach, local intelligence, and AI-driven execution to help customers increase global presence, authorization rates, reduce costs, and scale faster, Perez said.
