Combined Platform Emerges from Deal Close
Diversified Data Processing & Consulting (DivDat) has finalised its purchase of Meridian Integration, bringing together payment processing capabilities with customer engagement and communications technology.
The transaction pairs DivDat's payment operations infrastructure with Meridian Integration's software for self-service, customer engagement and communications. Both companies have spent decades integrating data across payment channels, customer systems and financial platforms.
The newly merged entity will operate under the brand name DivDat powered by Meridian, offering clients a single platform that links digital engagement with payment processing.
Vendor Consolidation and Process Simplification Drive Strategy
The integrated setup aims to reduce the number of vendors organisations need to manage while simplifying internal processes and creating more consistent experiences across customer touchpoints.
The combined offering targets healthcare providers, municipalities, utilities and other service organisations under pressure to improve customer experience, reduce costs, expand self-service options and modernise communications.
The deal expands DivDat's capabilities for organisations looking to update customer communications, transactions, engagement and payment access across both digital and in-person channels.
Post-Merger Priorities Include Digital Expansion
Key priorities for the merged business include:
- Supporting digital adoption across customer bases
- Widening access to payment options
- Linking customer-facing channels with back-office systems
- Expanding the broader solutions portfolio
Leadership Highlights Broader Vision
DivDat president and CEO Jason Bierkle framed the acquisition as a transformative move for the company's market position.
This acquisition represents an exciting new chapter for the markets we serve, our employees, and our company. Together, we are creating a stronger product offering, deeper expertise, and a broader vision for helping organisations improve customer experiences, reduce costs, streamline operations, and simplify reconciliation.
