Digital asset accounting platform Bitwave unveiled four open-source products designed to enable AI agents to handle accounting, payments, and financial operations autonomously across traditional and blockchain-based systems.

Bitwave Launches AI-Powered Tools for Autonomous Corporate Finance

Agentic Suite Debuts with Four Core Products

Digital asset accounting firm Bitwave rolled out the first components of its Agentic product suite Thursday, targeting AI-native financial operations. The launch introduces infrastructure designed to let artificial intelligence agents execute accounting tasks without human intervention.

The suite comprises four initial releases:

  • Bitwave CLI: an open-source, agent-native accounting system enabling local execution of accounting work across conventional and digital asset transactions
  • Bitwave MCP: an integration layer connecting compatible AI tools to supported Bitwave workflows
  • Bitwave Data and Analytics: agent-ready access to normalised blockchain data and SQL-based analytics across Bitwave's data infrastructure
  • KubeClaw: an open-source environment providing controlled, regulated settings for autonomous financial agents

The platform maintains model agnosticism, allowing organisations to deploy any compatible AI model or agent framework rather than locking them into a single vendor.

Reimagining Accounting Interfaces for Machine Users

AI agents are becoming participants in real business workflows, but they still need a practical way to create and share accounting work, Bitwave CEO and Co-Founder Patrick White said.

The company's approach assumes AI agents will interact with financial systems differently than humans — relying on code, structured interfaces, and programmable workflows instead of graphical user interfaces.

We believe agents won't interact with accounting software the same way humans do. They'll use code, structured interfaces and programmable workflows. Bitwave Agentic is our approach to building the financial infrastructure for that future, White explained.

Stablecoin Integration Push Across Multiple Networks

The Agentic suite launch follows a string of blockchain payment integrations over the past four months. Bitwave partnered with Hashgraph in April to build native support for USDC and HBAR stablecoins on the Hedera Network.

That same month, the firm integrated with the Canton Network blockchain, enabling enterprises to execute payments directly against invoices through programmable, on-chain workflows. In March, Bitwave added Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin to its enterprise payment module, completing the first B2B payment with the token.

In July 2025, Bitwave and payment infrastructure provider BVNK announced a collaboration to help corporate finance teams send and receive stablecoin invoice payments. The integration combined BVNK's embedded stablecoin wallets with Bitwave's SOC-compliant tax, accounting, and compliance platform — aiming to accelerate settlement times, modernise treasury operations, and simplify financial reporting.

Targeting Digital Asset Enterprises

The new open-source tools extend Bitwave's existing stack of accounting, payments, financial operations, and infrastructure products tailored for organisations operating in the digital asset economy.

By offering agent-native interfaces and open-source components, the company positions itself to serve enterprises seeking to automate financial workflows that span both traditional fiat and blockchain-based systems.
