Euro Area Expansion
The payments platform has launched PaysafeWallet in Croatia, Bulgaria, and Estonia, broadening the digital wallet's reach across Europe.
Consumers in all three countries can now access the service through the PaysafeCard app, which merges cash and digital money management into one platform.
Wallet Features and Capabilities
The service gives users an IBAN account paired with a personal debit card. Customers can load funds using cash via PaysafeCard or through bank transfer.
Payment options include online and in-store purchases with a Mastercard debit card, plus mobile wallet integration through Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Additional functionality covers SEPA payments throughout the Euro area, peer-to-peer transfers, and account-based payouts.
Targeting Digital-First Markets
Bob Legters, chief product officer at Paysafe, said the move demonstrates the company's focus on bringing fresh payment solutions to European consumers.
These are dynamic digital markets where consumers expect seamless, secure, and flexible ways to manage their money online. PaysafeWallet has been designed to meet those expectations and support the evolving needs of the experience economy.
Geographic Footprint
With the latest rollout, PaysafeWallet now operates across every Euro-area market. The company also introduced the wallet in Poland earlier in 2025.
Paysafe serves industries including iGaming, video gaming, esports, events, travel, hospitality, online trading, and digital commerce through card payments, digital wallets like Skrill and PaysafeWallet, eCash offerings such as PaysafeCard, and local payment methods.
The firm processed $167bn in annualised payment volume in 2025.
