PayQuicker Rolls Out API v2 With Webhooks and Batch Payment Features

New API Capabilities

Payment orchestration platform PayQuicker introduced API v2 this week, bringing a suite of advanced features to its client base. The updated interface delivers real-time webhook notifications, batch processing for high-volume transactions, payment retraction functionality, and enhanced visibility into fund movements.

The platform now supports signed notifications across multiple events — payee registrations, payment status updates, account receipts, and batch job progress. Users can schedule payments up to 30 days in advance and submit as many as 5,000 payments or invitations in a single job.

Payment Retractions and Enhanced Visibility

API v2 introduces payment retractions, allowing clients to reclaim the unused portion of a mistakenly sent payment directly through the interface. The upgrade also expands funds visibility — clients can now query funding balances and transaction activity via the API rather than relying on manual checks.

API v2 gives customers more ways to automate payout workflows, manage payments at scale, and gain real-time visibility into funds activity, CTO James Legan said. > From processing thousands of payments in a single job to responding to payout activity as it happens, these capabilities give program administrators greater efficiency, flexibility, and control over their payout operations.

Upgrade Path for Existing Clients

The new API shifts PayQuicker's architecture from a polling model to an event-driven one, enabling clients to respond to payout activity as it occurs. Existing integrations remain fully supported, giving customers flexibility to migrate on their own schedules without disrupting current operations.

Clearhaven Investment and Growth Plans

The API launch follows an August investment from Clearhaven Partners, the terms of which were not disclosed. PayQuicker said the capital will fund international network expansion and scaling of its commercial operations. President and CEO Paul Beldham and other members of the leadership team co-invested alongside Clearhaven.

As our customers have grown and their payout needs have become more complex, we have continued to expand the reach, flexibility, and capabilities of our platform, Beldham said. > Clearhaven brings deep software and technology expertise, a shared commitment to our customers, and resources to help us accelerate the next phase of PayQuicker's growth.
